Go to the dell.com home site. Camera is $399 - 10%(automatic) - $25 coupon (found on other sites) = $335 + Free shipping. Camera got good reviews. IMHO, its the best bang for your buck.

Edit: Coupon expires today 8/8.

I have the DC4800. It's an ok camera, but looking back, I would have been better off with a better camera with a better lens. Canon, Nikon, Sony and fewer megapixels.

Nice, I just picked up a Canon S330 for under $340 with free next day delivery!!!

This camera is only 2.1 MP but has excellent reviews, the kodak 4900 was my first choice until I read some not so good reviews on it.

This Kodak DX4900 4 MegaPixels camera is the best bang for the buck, but its a piece of junk in quality. Everything else is good though.

The camera is made of plastic. When ever i hold a camera that is plastic, i think its cheap. I expect good "high end" cameras to be made from at least metal.

At least the DC4800 was metal. Almost, maybe all Kodak digital cameras these day are plastic.

Yeah, not to thread crap but buyer beware.
More megapixels does not equate better quality.
The last good Kodak digital camera was DC4800 (I have that for quite a while) and even that is just a so so camera.
Go to www.dpreview.com for DX4900 review.
I think I recalled one of the flaw is that it took a long time for it to write to CF.
Not to mention crappy picture quality. Kodak has gone downhill since DC4800.
For that much money you can get really decent 3MP digicam.
I think Sony DSC-P71 or DSC-P7 sells for $399 retail, so should be much cheaper anywhere else.

Canon S330 is a great camera.

I've owned the DX4900 for about four months, and the picture quality is unbelievable. This camera won several "camera of the year" awards, so beware of basing your decision on one single review (good or bad).

I highly recommend the docking station if you go for this. Not only does it make transferring pics incredibly simple, but it also includes the lion battery pack and charges your camera.

Darn it,
You guys are killing me.... :>
I've purchased 5 digi-cams in the last two years because of anandtech.
Now I am upgrading to the dx4900, I've had Kodak before and was happy with them. The professional reviews that I've seen for this camera were all pretty good...

Thanks for the good find....
