Kodak DVC325 Webcam and Hauppauge WinTV-D TV-tuner

My Kodak DC325 webcam conflicts with my Hauppauge WinTV-D TV tuner in Windows XP. I installed the XP driver for the Hauppauge first, then the XP driver for the Kodak second. The TV-tuner works fine, but when I try to start my webcam under any application, the dialog/application window for the webcam shows up, but the picture is from the TV-tuner! I did not have any problems with either under Windows 2000 and have yet to figure out a solution for this under Windows XP. Anyone experience the same thing? Anyone have any solutions for this?

interesting...

my wintv-d refused to work with my logitech quickcam webcam!

i ended up moving the tv tuner to a different system entirely

this was under win2k, which is weird since you're setup apparently worked under that OS

so basically, i experience this same thing, but never DID figure out a solution!

It's kinda funny cause I can feed live television through my webcam, but the internet connection and the webcam is hardly fast enough. Lol, I think I want webcam to start taking pictures again...

i suppose you could *try* disabling the device you're not using and then re-enabling it again. (i.e., if you want to watch tv, disable the webcam) and see if that works
