I have been looking around for a Decent Camera between 1.3 to 2 Mega Pixel and bolied it down to these 3. Kodak Dc3400, Kodak Dc240 and Olympus D460. What I want to know is which is the best to have. I like the Olympus besides the fact there is no USB on it. Thats why I decided to defintely go with Kodak. What I can't understand is the Kodak Dc240 is a 1.3 Mega Pix and it cost more than the Dc3400 which is a 2.1 Mega Pix. Anyone know the differences and why it would cost more?
Thanks,

I got the Kodak DC280, excellent camera, but sucks up juice kinda fast. I'm horrible at photography anyways, it's all about the lighting.

Go with the Kodak DC240. Maybe you should get the DC280 since it comes w/ a 32mb compact flash card even though it says it comes with a 8mb card. I'm not sure if the DC240 comes with a 32mb card.

DC240 comes with an 8MB card, but you can always buy another one like I did (have 48MB now). I am pleased with my DC240 though I haven't a great deal of experience with other cameras (used Sony FD-73, Kodak DC215, and HP C200 briefly).

One thing to pay attention to: OPTICAL zoom. The inclusion of that feature often jacks up the price a great deal. The DC240 has 3x -- perhaps the 3400 has less. Don't pay attention to digital zoom because you can do the same thing with Paint Shop Pro or a similar editing program.

That Sony was awesome in one aspect -- 10x optical zoom! That was sweet.
