Kodak DC215 Digital Camera

I have a Kodak DC215 Digital Camera. It has a 4MB Kodak "Picture" CompactFlash card in it. When taking pictures, it has the option of FlashPix or JPEG. Is it possible to just take pictures in JPEG and then copy them right over to the computer instead of having to mess around with acquiring the image from the camera through Twain32? I think that it would be MUCH simpler that way...

Please help if possible.
