I was wondering if this is a cheap price for digital... there is no minimum, just $1.49 for standard shipping

its under costco

i think this is a pretty good deal no?

are there any places cheap that are online?

i don't have a costco card, that's why i don't bring it to costco to do prints 🙁

Last week we tried our local Walmart PhotoCenter and the results were impressive!

Just bring the media (CF, SD, MMC, floppy or burned CD-R) with you to your local Walmart's photo center, insert the media, enter in your name and phone number, select which pictures you want, how many, options, etc. in about an hour the pics are done, you pay for them and you're out the door. I believe the 4x6's were $0.26 each and looked great!

Yup, Sams are also around 19 cents. Walmart uses the same Fuji printers. Ask or look to see if they have the Frontier printer, it's sooo nice. 🙂

This is a little cheaper than Wal-Mart, plus it seems to be Kodak paper, processing, etc. (Wal-Mart uses Fuji products, IIRC.)

I'm ordering some prints now so I'll let you know how they turn out.

Thanks!

Snapfish also comes out to 19c if you have more than 100 prints. but they are a little high on shipping.
I was pretty impressed with their quality and you usually get your photos delivered in 2/3 days from when you place your order.
besides, if you sign up new you get some 10 prints free... if that counts..

I have to second your local walmart. NO hassle pictures in less than an hour, especially if you ask the person behind the counter pretty please. Make 1 print or make 100.

Costco uses Noritsu digital labs with Fuji Crystal Archive paper. My local Costco lowered the price a penny to 18 cents per 4x6 print. But my friends and I find the prints tend to be too light/washed out...probably improper calibration of the machine at that particular Costco location.

My local Longs Drugs uses a Fuji Frontier digital lab (a favorite amongst photo enthusiasts), and since their volume is much lower, the lab tech takes the time to adjust the prints to my liking. But of course, much more expensive than the warehouse stores. Sam's Club also uses Fuji Frontier digital labs.

I'll be ordering form Ofoto (Kodak), and will see how that compares to the Fuji process.

Do you guys ask the peps there what kind of labs they are using? like fuji or kodak or whatever.

Also, does all costco use the same lab, does anyone know?

Walmart B&M's photo machine has Fuji logo on it.

well... i try the kodak.com one... i think i am going to get some pictures in today, if not, hopefully by tomorrow

I'll let you guys know if its good quality?

after i uploaded some of my pictures, it tells me that 'this picture is not recommended for this size' and it was only a 4x6 so i am keeping my figure crossed

my experience with snapfish has been the worst. i ordered 10/14, they shipped 10/20, and it still hasn't arrived. i don't see any reason for going with them versus clubphoto

edit: just got it today. the pictures are pretty good, but the paper isn't as good as costco paper. not as thick

I think Walmart is 26 cents for a 4x6 and you have to pick it up in store. I ordered some like a year and a half ago. They looked pretty nice but this is good if you can have them shipped to you.

I use www.dotphoto.com, and they print on Kodak paper.

You can get 4x6 prints for $0.24 down to $0.19, depending upon what volume you're looking at. I've been pretty satisfied at the quality, even with 8x10's and other blown up images...

local Target has Kodak lab inside and prints digitals for $0.23. Does any one know how/if places like Wal-Mart photo lab or Target (Kodak) handle larger 9-12MB files? I am considering getting the Canon Digital Rebel (300D = foreign model) and I know the file sizes are huge. Also, if you snap a "RAW" image, do you convert to jpg before taking it to be developed?

walmart does a good job of printing photos from media.
