Does anyone have one?

How do you like it?

I wanted a 10" Tablet for my Wife and Daughter to use. This fits the budget I've created and ordered one. Will be here Monday. I tried a floor model in store for a little while (they had none left, had to order one) and I was impressed.

Here are my thoughts.

Has Stock Android 4.2.2 (other than the launcher which you can change to Nova, etc)

Tegra 4 CPU/GPU with 2GB of Ram and 16GB Storage.

PROS:

- 2560x1600 Screen - High Contrast, Not Dull. Screen is very nice (better than the Nexus 10 in my opinion)

- Has HDMI Port Out (Nice addition) - Will be nice for plugging into bedroom TV's. No MHL crap/chargers to deal with.

- Device is very nice looking and built well. Has a soft touch backing to it.

- Tegra 4 - Which is very fast especially with Stock Android on board. Feels just as fast as the Snap 800 in usage.

- Battery life is surprisingly good for the smaller battery. (Around 2000 mAh smaller than Nexus 10) - BASED ON REVIEWS

CONS:

- Limited to 16GB Storage (No MicroSD's)

- Heavy - 660g (About same as ipad 4 for reference)

- No back Camera

- 4.2.2 Is most likely all it will ever get.

- No Dev Community

Future Shop and Best Buy Have it for $299.99 Right now - Probably the best 10" Tablet you can buy for this Price.

I admire Kobo products from afar, but they tend to be too expensive for me. Like the ereader is close to $200. Meanwhile, I picked up a nook simple touch for $38 recently...

Looks like an okay 10 inch tablet for $370 in the US (Bestbuy.ca link is broken above). Though I wouldn't call it high end myself. Tegra 4 and 16GB storage is decidedly mid-range specs now. And for what Best Buy is selling it for in the US, ($370 on sale with an MSRP of $400) it seems a tad expensive for something with limited storage. No micro SD slot seems really odd.

The Tegra 4 is faster the the S600 Snapdraggons, and faster CPU wise than the S800 in some benchmarks. Besides the 16GB storage. It has the highest resolution screen of any 10 inch tablet on the market. Plus it runs stock Andoid, huge plus in my books.

It's a nice tablet.

16GB is disappointing, but for most it's fine. I stream everything off my home network to my tablets anyways.

Nice tablet.

That screen definitely makes it worth it; at $300 it seems like a steal.

At $300 it'd probably be fairly popular in the US too. At $400... eh. Not so much.

It's very nice.

I read a review online saying it was heavily skinned by Kobo... what a joke. It has a custom launcher and that's it.

Install Nova, and it's 100% stock Android with 0 customization.

To be honest, having 4.2.2 is kind of nice - I never liked needing to go to Dolphin for flash.

This Tablet comes with the AOSP Browser installed with Flash enabled - and it has reading mode as well.

Like this Tablet a lot. My father is in the market for a $300 Tablet and I recommended him going with this or the Nexus 7 - Told him just needs to figure our which screen size he prefers.

I ran Antutu on it, it scored just under 31000 - so it is fast.

One negative thing about it - It has a Slider button rather than a push button for the Power Button. Not sure I like it to be honest, its a little odd
