wow overrated??

even I, as a King's fan, have to admit that the laker's would be nothing without kobe. He is far from overrated, he is worth every penny...

..unless you take into account that he is a rapist.

I HATE Kobe w/ a passion but he's definately NOT overrated. He is freaking annoying though.

Personally, I think the use of the word overrated is highly overrated. It seems this word gets thrown around like a towel at a Bukkake, and it usually means, "I haven't the acuity to actually rate this person's ability, so I'll simply say they're overrated."

Overrated? Hardly...look at what he's done for the Lakers. Shaq couldn't have led the Lakers to their respective championships by himself (and possibly vice versa) He's a good cluch performer.

You have to respect Kobe, he's most definitely good. If you rate him as the best player in the NBA right now then yeah, he's over rated.

He's one of the 3 guys I'd give the ball to to take the winning shot w/ 10 seconds left. (Bibby and McGrady being the others.)

really? the way i look at it, when the game is on the line i want a big man to take the shot because it is a higher percentage shot . i put in the hands of Duncan or Garnett (not Shaq cuz he will get fouled)

Overrated? No.

All the media and nba or whatever has been trying to find the "Jordan #2" ever since Jordan retired.

In my opinion, Kobe is the only thing remotely close to Jordan.

It's simple as that.

p/s: I am a big Rockets fan in case anyone wondering.

fivespeed ... I am not trying to hurt VC's character as I am a huge Raptors fan ... BUT every frickin game I went to this year he was seated on the bench in his fancy ass suit because he was "injured". Out over a month with a hurt ankle?? Ohter guys would come back faster with an amputated limb for god's sake.

I'm really impressed by Lebron's play this year.

However, the more i saw him play, the less he remind me of Jordan. Their style and approach of the game is very different (James and Jordan), with that being said, i think James can be a great great players and have a huge impact to the game for years to come.

The only thing about Lebron James that reminds me of Jordan is the number 23. :)

Not Duncan, he's a bad foul shooter too. I'd maybe give it to Garnett but kobe can create his own shot better.
