Juwan Howards actually does well a lot...his team never does tho...
and he only gets it done because he's the only option out there...kinda like Eddie Jones and Allan Houston and the like...

and as for Kobe, i think he can AVERAGE 35/8/8....

why not? just needs to get some support that can hit open shots and move w/out the ball...

remember when he played SF for the first 20 games or so 4 years ago...he was averaging like 11 boards....

He still has his BAD moments...but gotta give the guy credit

Really something to be proud of.

Too bad he can't play decently when the game really means something.

Hehe apparently you haven't watched the NBA the past 3 seasons or so... But, I'll bring you up to speed. The Laker's are 3 times defending champs, and Kobe has almost as much to do with it as Shaq... He is considered a clutch player, and has been ever since he choked away those 3 air balls against Utah so many years ago...
But, you are entitled to your opinion, and if you don't think he plays when it counts, go on believing it.

Seriously

go back and look at the numbers. In the playoffs, Shaq has definitely lead the lakers AT HOME, but ON THE ROAD it has been KOBE that came thru for the lakers.

you must not watch much Laker basketball, he's their clutch guy, comes through in the 4th quarter, making things happen for the team. Kobe does what this team needs to win, he needs to pass, he gets a bunch of assists, he has to score to keep everyone going, he does that, he rebounds. He has had several triple doubles this year. I would like to see him pass and rebound more, but right now, he's scored 40 in the last, 5 or 6 games and they're winning, plus he's not shooting 30+ shots a game like AI does, to get those 40 points.

Howard is good because they don't have any pressure to win. He's their only option, but if they were in the playoff hunt, he'd disappear.

Someone tell Helen Keller aka Spac3d to start actually watching some games before he sticks his opinions into bball threads.

the lakers won by 11 points: 113:102.

notice the scoreing on the last two quarters:

31-32 Lakers
33-11 Denver.

Imagine what woulda happened if this game lasted an extra 2 minutes :Q
