according to hacksaw (local socal sports guy on radio) it is in the $,$$$,$$$ range but will be paid out in increments to make sure she doesn't spill the beans after being paid.

reports are that kobe didn't want to go to a deposition last friday because they were going to go into his past sexual history, so he settled. I was actually at the game last friday and kobe did not seem to be in a good mood. i guess paying millions for a botched one night stand will do that to you.

hopefully the girl, her new husband, and baby on the way can get free from all this and have a great future together.

well ya, but i think she signed something saying she wasn't raped when he apologized.

The story i heard was that she agreed to have sex with him... she told him to stop when he wanted to hunt the big brown bear in its cave... and that was from kobe's testimony to the cops.

my view is that she agreed to get it on, but he still sexually assaulted her. I don't think she's too out of line in objecting to butsecs while being strangled. That may be "michelle's" thing, but it wasn't hers.

remember, this is the kid who tried to throw his teammate/mortal enemy under the bus when the cops showed up.

The amount of money he has to pay to settle this case is chump change compared to what he has lost in endorsements.

Don't see Kobe on TV anymore selling Spite, McD's, Shoes, nothing, zip, nada for commercials. Probably cost him 10-15 million plus. Now that it is all over his wife will probably file for divorce and get half of what he has now plus huge child support.
