Known issues with xp sp2?

I am unable to sign into ebay and hotmail (sometimes)... It started when I installed sp2 and I have friends who had the same probs happen after they did sp2 also. So I assume that maybe sp2 has some issues. Is this true?

I know the probs could be cause by MANY other things, but I figured that I would ask if there were any known issues with xp sp2.

Oh I also installed Opera to see if the prob was just IE and I still couldnt sign into ebay ...etc.

Please dont flame me.

Plastick, I know I personally have never had a problem with logging into hotmail or ebay with SP2, and I've been using it since RC1 on two different machines so far (K7 and K8.) I mainly use Firefox, but I doubt that changes anything, since programs like MSN Messenger open stuff in IE by default.

Actually I found the problem. I have Norton installed and I tried disabeling the whole Norton Internet Security shabang and then I could log on to ebay. Enabled it and then couldnt. Disabled it again and then could. Back and fourth changing settings and thats what it is for me. I dont know WHAT the specific settings in NAV Sec that keep me from loging onto ebay are, and I went through it all twice.. So screw it.

OH yeah. I just HAD to uninstall SP2 before of thinking of the norton thing. lol. I'll be spending more time loading it again.

If anyone else has Norton (registered and legal ) and does live updates and finds precisly what the problem is, please, by all means let me know.
