What's the difference between knowledge and wisdom? I don't want definitions (i can look that up easily enough on the internet)..but like...I need examples and stuff. I'm running out of ideas...can someone possibly help me? This is the topic for a philosophy paper btw...

Simply knowing "something" isn't wisdom. Knowing what to do with what you do know IS.

I'd split levels of smartness into 3 areas: intelligence, wisdom, and knowledge.

Intelligence lets you acquire, process, and apply knowledge. Wisdom, as vi_edit said, tells you when to apply (or not apply) your knowledge.
