Putting in a 14 hour day, much of it spent driving 600 miles, only to be stuck for 40 minutes on the interstate 1.5 miles from your home. :|

Seems that a Semi jackknifed and dumped a full truckload of scrap metal onto the interstate. Didn't really see any other vehicles in the mess...unless they were burried somewhere in the trailer length pile of rubble they had bulldozed off into the left lane.

I'll have to look in the paper to tomorrow to see what exactly happened.

Ouch. Something like that happened around here the other week, but there was 2 semis. Both drivers were killed.

Here today a cement truck overturned on the highway. Of course the cement dried before they could get it clean, so there is a HUGE speed bump in the highway now :|

Huh? I was a mile past the last exit, and the next one to get to my home was half a mile down the road. I live 1 mile off the interstate. I *would* have just baja'd through the median, but I don't think the 10+ state troopers in the vicinity would have appreciated that.
