Know of a good book for imacs?

Hi. I need a iMac book for a complete beginer to computers. It's got to start with such simple things as how
to save a file. Since the person is a fast learner, covering advanced topics would be nice too. I really don't
know too much about macs and am hoping someone else here may know of a good book. So, any suggestions
will be much appreciated.

In general Macs are really easy to use, if you (or whoever this post is about) have a computer experience getting to work on a Mac shoudln't be too hard.

Do you have one already or are you just thinking about getting one?

It is for someone else. I thought they were supposed to be easy too, annoying but easy. But this person has had it for almost a year and she did not yet know you could save files in the word editing program or go back with out erasing everything. Basically using it as a typewriter. Since I'm supposedly good with computers, in come requests for help. So it has been suggested by other people to get a book for beginners. And again because I'm supposed to know what I'm doing the task of finding the book has been assigned to me. Thats where I was hoping to get some advise for a good book. Elsewise I have to go sit in Barns and Noble guesing which book would be a good one. Maybe someone has encountered this sort of problem before and could recomend the one that worked.

This person lives very far away, so it is impossible to help them in person.
