Know nothing about TV-Tuner cards and need help

I basically know nothing about tv-tuner cards, so I would like some help here about choosing a card. I am aiming to turn my computer into a TIVO, but I don't know what card to choose to be able to do it. I would like to be able to pick up the HDTV antenna broadcasts as well. I also want to be able to hook up my x-box to my computer so I can use my monitor's better resolution, so I assume I need a card with an s-video in for that. I don't need a graphics card, I have a Radeon 9800 Pro, so I think I just need the tuner card with those capabilities not an all-in-wonder. So what card would you all recommend with those capabilities. I am not looking to spend more than $200

Get something like this for SD. I you search around for the OEM version without remote it should be under $100. Get something that does hardware MPEG2 encoding. ATI's ehome tuner is supposed to be good and low priced as well. I think rbv5 has one. HD tuner will cost more, and I don't have one, so someone else can suggest a good one.

Here are a couple to look at. I like the low-profile Dvico card. It'll fit in slim cases.
