Anybody know of a good, cheat motherboard that I will be using for overclocking a Duron 600.
Integrated sound and video preferred cause I'm building for a client that just wants to use for Internet...and storing..etc.

This Gigabyte mobo has integrated sound and audio (based on the via km133 chipset). However, it does NOT have overclocking choices through manipulation of the multiplier. This got a "5" on anandtech, which is average.

Well.....looks like there are no good ones that oc for integrated video and audio..
and if im ocing, might as well get good AGP card such as RADEON LE...

How about ONLY integrated audio???
Lemme rephrase my original question..
Any cheap motherboards good w/ overclocking Duron 600 w/ integrated audio??

As anandtech states on their motherboar dpric elist, there really aren't any bottom-dollar motherboards out there for the duron. If you want to overclock then you can totally forget it.

RE: Audio
I wouldn't recommend integrated audio as it usually not very good at all. Iwill kk266 is an exception with a supposedly decent onboard soundchip.

Want a good suggestion, decide why you really wanna overclock. If its for good performance for a reasonable cost, then you should just build it slowly as you can getting decent parts as you go until its runs. Then the system you end up with will be the system you want. If you settle, then I know from personal experience that you end up unhappy and disappointed with what you have. If this is something you are gonna use alot, don't settle. But if you just wanna get up and running there are a few sites that sell systems that all you have to add is memory, cpu and hard drive and of course monitor. I have seen these barebones systems go for as little as $189 with onboard sound and video. Here is a real decent site for this kinda system. Krex (I have never bought from here, just found it surfing lookin for good deals to build basic systems) This way you save a few bucks you can put into buying a faster processor and don't worry about overclocking.

<< Epox 8KTA+ w/ sound at www.newegg.com >>

I second this. I just got one from there for $85 shipped! (Had free shipping.) With shipping now, it's around $93. That's a great deal on a board that has multiplier, FSB, and voltage adjustments. And it has onboard audio that's pretty decent for MP3s etc...

Newegg just added another Epox motherboard like 8KTA2 called 8KTA2L, but without ISA and 1 PCI for only $92 shipped!
This looks like excellent deal.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS THE RETAIL VERSION???
Does it come w/ ide cables...floppy cables, manual.??
