know anywhere i can get a 10x24 foot banner?

most kinkos have sign shops, i know a custom sign is pretty expensive, but a blank one shouldnt be too expensive

Just visit a local sign shop like johngute suggested. I work at a sign shop in central KY, and we would have several different options for a blank banner. Most smaller to mid-size sign shops will not carry 10' banner material, only up to 5'. So chances are they can and will special order from a dealer they have. Hope you aren't in a hurry for it!

EDIT: Forgot to add that in our shop, we could make a 10' banner, although we basically use vinyl cement to "glue" two pieces together. The result doesn't look bad if done right, and will hold together just about as well as if it was one piece.

What are you looking to put on the material? Vinyl or just marking on it yourself?

Just to add some of my personal experience to this *excellent* post, the local Kinko's charges $6 per sq.ft. to print out my posters(so it's not blank), but I would venture to say . . . expect to pay at least that.

$6 per sq.ft. sounds right for something will be printed, but the material he is looking for will probably be a bit different than media used for inkjet's and the like. At $6 a sq.ft., his banner would cost well over $1000! Off the top of my head, for a 10'x24' banner, the price should be upwards of $250-$300, although I could be off. I just make the stuff, I don't sell it 🙂.

Ya, $700 can be beat with no problem. Although, I don't know how small of a sign company you own, but you need some connections!!

I'm getting ready to head into work this morning. I'll check on some prices from some of our vendors and see what I can find out for you, price wise. I may even be able to give you the vendor's info so you can order something directly yourself.
