If you are suspicious as to their claim, you can always report them to Authenti Seal. Check their Wall of Shame for phonies posing as SEALs. It's amazing how many losers there really are out there trying to pretend they are SEALs.

I saw a report on TV where this silly lady on the internet met this nut who claimed he was a SEAL. She looked him up on that site and found out he was NOT a SEAL. BWAHAHA, busted!

 
I had a cousin who was in SEAL school but tore his ACL while running on the beach. Now he's a photography mate.

No... it was another guy. He was around when 9/11 occurred.. i remember seeing a pic of him and his SEAL buddies.

Many years ago when I played paintball I knew a former Navy SEAL. That was one crazy dude playing paintball.

He also modded an F2, which he sold later to a friend of mine. The gun devloped a leak in the CO2 reservoir, friend sent to the company for repair and within the year they copied the idea and started to sell it.
 
Interesting....there's a guy at work who claims to have been in the Army, nothing special just did 4 years, but I have serious doubts about him. Never thought much of it before but I think I'll do some digging now....especially since I found out on Friday that he's using his alleged services as basis for getting a promotion that I think would be better served going to someone else. No that someone else isn't me.......not even a friend of mine.....just a hard working guy that I think deserves the promotion more than this braggart.
 
I know a kid going to the Naval Academy next year who wants to become a Seal. Does that count?
 
When I was taking the PADI medic first aid course my dive instructor was a navy seal. Real nice guy, almost nerdy looking with those big, thick black rimmed glasses that the services issue. He was very buff and always carried a big knife. He also had the trident tattoo on his arm.
 
Isn't Steven Seagal a Navy Seal? Or was that a CIA operative?

I do know someone that is a Navy Seal. He is one hell of an athlete. He was basically a water baby and a champion water skier when we were growing up. They are badass..

I know a marine who was checking over a firing range when a SEAL popped up and said "dude, i almost shot you" after the marine'd told the SEAL commander that he was clearing the range.

pardon me if i contain my enthusiasm for that particular special force.
 
Nope. The only guy I knew who was a SEAL, who graduated college with me, was killed in a "training accident" a few years back.
 
bah, if i wasnt color blind and scared i might fail bud/s i'd go become a navy seal. just can't imagine failing bud/s and getting stuck on a ship for 9 of the 12 months in a year.
