I need to find a IP camera that has some method of controlling bandwidth. Also need some other high-end features- Pan/Tilt/Zoom, Power Over Ethernet, and configurable frame rate.
Found a Panasonic which has everything but the bandwidth usage is too high. What would be ideal is a 640x480 image that could be set to 3 or 4 fps (the Panasonic doesn't allow a setting less than 6 fps), or maybe a way of reducing the color depth to use less bandwidth.
All the high-end IP cameras I could find reduce the frame rate as the resolution increases but you can't control the frame rate or color depth enough. I have to keep bandwidth in the 300kb/sec range or less.
