ie i'd do a website, they'd give me lessons

free? thats tough, maybe bargain bin at your local staples? they always have the older version of language softwares for under $10.

The best way to learn a language is to actually live in the foreign country for about a year -- of course, this is all assuming you're independently wealthy.

Taking a class isn't enough. You have to learn the spoken language and not just the written/proper language that they teach you in class.
