Knoppix - VNC Server

I've got a machine running the Knoppix live cd.

I want to connect to it from my WindowsXP machine through VNC.

How do I set up the password on the Knoppix machine??????

I can ping the machine.
I can attempt to connect to it through RealVNC
I get a prompt for the password.
I get an error "No password configured for VNC Auth"

 
If I remember correctly when you first run the vnc server daemon from the menu it asks you if you want to create a password, otherwise I think there is a vncpasswd command to set it.
 
You've got the correct answer there already, but a more general solution to many issues is:
$ apropos vnc
