Was told to come here, so here it is...
My boot disk is showing just fine in knoppix, but Knoppix says my D drive cannot be mounted.
The error is as follows:

Could not mount device.
The reported error was:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock
on /dev/hdd1,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
