Knoppix 3.3 release!

it looks like this is a "new" 3.3 release (as opposed to the version of 3.3 that was released last month). The bittorrent link you left looks like it's downloading very slowly so I'm going to leave mine up for a while so you guys can leech my bandwidth (of course it wont do you much good until I finish downloading it myself).

I'm only 10% of the way done downloading it and I've already uploaded twice as much as I've downloaded, anyone else with bandwidth want to help me seed this?
 
yeah the "official" bittorant link is still the one from last week, some of their mirrors do have it but they are awefully slow...

okay I've got it now and I checked the MD5 hash from the downloaded file and it is the same as the one off the knoppix site so this build appears to be legit, just in case any of you were concerned.

EDIT: I was going to burn it and play with it today but I'm running out of time, I'm just going to leave my client here so people can pull decent downloads from it tonight (I'm currently uploading @ 130 KiB/s). Besides if I dont let you guys use the bandwidth for something productive it will just end up going to our students running Kazza...

Have downloaded & burned to CD the Nov. 3 build from here: http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/knoppix/
For my machine, this release does not connect to the internet (via NIC & cable modem)., Also, my Audigy sound card does not work, using "knoppix alsa" command line. Both network & sound card DID work in the previous release from September 24, however.
 
wow you guys are leechers! I've already uploaded 3.4GB worth of this ISO! 😉

I figure I'll let it run for the rest of the night and than kill it in the morning.
