knights of the old republic..1 and 2

consulars really are overpowered. in KOTOR2 i'm just wasting people left and right with force storm.

i'm even light side, using a force stance that increases FP cost, and i'm not coming anywhere close to running out of force.

Everyone is overpowered in KOTOR I - II 🙂

A dual-wielding weapon master hardly ever needs to heal, the only difficult battle is at the very end (no spoiler in case this is your first play-through).

KOTOR2 was horribly unbalanced, my character absolutely murdered everything he ever encountered. I don't remember KOTOR1 being as bad.

I just hate how idiotic the AI teammates are in KotOR 2. Its like 'What's that? A Bad Guy within 1,000 miles of my current location? I better run right up to them so they can kill me!'

I have tried telling the AI to not engage, to take a non-agressive stance, to only do long rage attacks... everything, they ignore it all and keep running in like lambs to the slaughter.

that's why it's better to just solo everything.

i dont even buff. i just walk up..2 lightning's, everything's dead. continue the lightning rampage.

i dont recall scouts ever being overpowered. or even powerful at all.

actually, they kind of suck.

but consulars became especially powerful in kotor 2, when you can spar with the echani till she grants you adding your wisdom modifier to AC.

for me, since i had at end around 36 wisdom, that is a ridiculous boost to AC. a squishy robe user with over 40 AC unbuffed....where the other people in my party have somewhere between 20 and 30.

What great games, seriously one of the best I've ever played. I really need to play Mass Effect

yes, you really do.

as a fictional universe, mass effect is one of my favorites. beaten only by dune.

I loved KOTOR - 1. Never played 2...is it worth it to pick it up for a few bucks? (Is it compatible on the 360?)

Oh yea, KOTOR 2 is great, maybe even better than one

I just wish Team Gizka would hurry up and finish restoring the cut content.
KotOR 2 is vary much a thinking man's Star Wars. It goes a lot further in depth about the philosophy of the force than other Lucas studios projects have.

I'd like to see how they're gonna balance The Old Republic MMO that's coming out at the end of the year.

It's an MMO so most people are going to hate it. I'm not going to play it that's for sure.

i bought it thinking it'd be good for the 360. it was on the compatibility list.

but it's compatibility with the 360 is rather bad. the emulation fails alot. extremely poor FPS, freezes when fighting, etc. i got used to it, and enjoyed the game, but if you get it, you're better off getting it for PC. and then you can add the lost content as well. 🙂
