Knight Rider for the PC gets a 5.8...

I know I should be embarrassed for posting this, but I had high hopes for a cool Knight Rider game for the PC

Knight Rider Review from GS

W/ such a poor job on the KR game, I guess I won't hold my breath on a cool Airwolf game in the future

I would have told you this game would suck before it began production, if I had heard of it. Knight Rider was an awful TV show if you're older than 12.

How exactly does one do that anyway? throw the car in neutral right before the tires hit the ground, and hope that everything works out?

The car is actually already in neutral as it goes down the ramp. Basically, reverse, gas, neutral, coast down ramp.

Of course, when you dump the transmission into Drive, it just loves it. (K.I.T.T. was an automatic, not really good to drop it into drive at 55 mph.) It would be easier with a stick-shift I think.

i bet the one time they filmed it they used a stick and we're going about 20 mph

I've seen stunt shows where they did that at speed. It's not that hard on a car.

I got into cars because my dad bought me a little KITT car when i was small... but this game was amusing for 5 minutes... because of the turbo boost... other than that it blows... chunks.

I played Knight Rider on my Commodore 64, that was a pretty cool game.
