KM400 vs Nforce 2 motherboards

That's why I called to clarify - the guy said the extender ad only applies to w/ CPU, but might be good to get it in writing to confirm.
I do have it in writing - the official rebate form stating "Buy one SY-K7VME Get $50.00 USD Mail-in Rebate" with no mention of a CPU.

Well, I'm now running an Aria with an MSI KM4AM-L, 512MB PC3200 RAM (Mushkin Green), an Athlon XP 2600+ (333 MHz FSB), and my old Radeon 7500. It's been working like a charm for the past week.

So far the VIA KM400A chipset is rock solid!

Nice, thanks for following up. I've been eye-ing the KM4AM-L, looks like a great little board.

Danime- what HSF are you using? I also got an Aria & MSI KM4AM-L, but am having trouble finding a HSF that looks like will fit and is quiet. I foolishly ordered the Zalman flower, then found out that the board doesn't have the mounting holes.. :frown:
