Being associated is neither part of the race, sex, nationality, or disability so I don't see why it would be.

There are a LOT of other things you cannot ask about. Basically, if it is not directly related to the job or their ability to do the job, you can't ask it.

True. I have been living in Kentucky for the past 13 years and traveled throughout South extensively; had a misfortune of meeting several of these "Darwin Awards winners". Scary folks to say the least.
