Klipsch speakers

Mookow

Lifer
OK, I just got my new Klipsch Promedia 2.1s, and they sound great. Seriously. My question is about durability/looks. Specifically, how much easier is it for one of speakers to be damaged if I do not use the cover? They look better without it, but I am in a dorm room (ie crap flies around here alot), so... exactly how fragile are these things?

USE THE COVER.

Tweeters and woofers are subject to damage (they are not covered for "that" kind of damage under warranty).

Admire then when no one else is around (or show them off for a moment before the stuff flies).

Actually the horn tweeters are less subject to damage than dome tweeters. But a sharp object contacting your woofer and they are history (plus you wouldn't believe the idiots that like to poke woofers with fingers or even pencils).

Nice speakers. I have Klipsch also (with all 4 covers on). 🙂
