I sent my Promedia 5.1 sub in for repair, and 5 months later I still didn't have it. I don't know if they couldn't fix it or not, but they sent my a brand new set of Promedia 5.1 Ultras. So now I have 5 extra speakers laying around. Is there anything I could do with them? Was thinking about getting a Klipsch sub, but then I wouldn't have the control pod. Any way to splice/amplify them into my Ultra's?

How long is the warranty on those speakers?

Warranty on the old speakers has been expired for a long time. They were the original Klipsch Promedia 5.1's... when they first came out. Speakers still sound beyond amazing though

the klipsch plant is about 30 minutes from me(only one in the US i believe)

i was given about 4 or 5 dead sets of 5.1s(old model) last summer through working at a pc shop. I sent each one of them in and got a set of klipsch 5.1 ultras brand new in return for every set. i sold one set on amdmb.com for 135 bucks:Q

neoV bought a set off of me too

edit- everything was free, shipping etc

OH...just curious because I have the original 5.1 set (or whatever's left of it after my former dog ruined the main speaker, etc). Guess I could have sent mine in for repair too...:(
