Klipsch Promedia 5.1 $369 after MIR

If not picking up, add about $30 for shipping & order charge. MIGC probably stands for MAIL-IN GIFT CERTIFICATE...

Depending on a few if the $30 MIGC shows up on your receipt or not.... if you buy it with an AMEX Blue card, you could price match with Axion Technologies ($378.99) and get an additional $21 off. That would bring the total cost to $348. Has anyone bought these at BB yet? Does the MIGC show up on the receipt?

Are these really worth it? How much better are these as opposed to the Creative 5.1 speakers.

Klipsch are the best!

Their Promedia 5.1 is the best!

As for their 4.1.. I got the Logitech Z560's instead. Cheaper and more bass. Klipsch pricing has usually been somewhat steep, but i guess it's all a matter of economics.

They blow creative out of the water... no... out of this world.

But they are really expensive.

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to Klipsch, go with the Logitech Z560 4.1 setup... I got them with pricematch for $139.

True they are not 5 channel, but they are better than any 5 channel setup, ACCEPT the Klipsch.

These are definitely worth it. Go to BestBuy and you can listen to them and compare to the other models. You'll be amazed.

I actually want the 2.1 version, but they are still $179. I couldn't believe how sharp and crisp they sound. And the bass is very tight. Big difference over the other speakers they had on demo at the store that I was at. Of course, it might depend on your tastes, so definitely "test drive" them first.....
