newegg.com has the Klipsch ProMedia 4.1 THX 5 Piece Speaker for $299.. I know that is the normal price, but this includes shipping, not a bad deal for those of you in store for these sweet speakers.

Klipsch has the Promedia 4.2 for $299. So, for the price of shipping you get another sub. Either way it is a great setup.:)

Actually, the klipsch 4.2 doesn't have the upgraded crossover connections. These are a big plus for the new 4.1s. I would get the 4.1s over the 4.2s anytime.

I have the V2-400s, upgraded to 4.1s only to return them when I found out about their new Promedia 5.1s. It is supposed to come out some time this month - mid to late June. Retails for $399 - featuring THX Cert 500 watts(RMS), offering two 8-inch side-firing woofers. You will basically be paying $100 more for a center channel, larger sub, and an additional 100watts. This baby is gonna be sweet!

I'm also holding out for the Promedia 5.1's. I bought the Promedia 4.1's from Best Buy a couple of weeks ago. Of course, the 5.1's got announce the very next day. How's that for timing?

I returned the Promedia 4.1's the following weekend. I must say that for the week that I had them, the Klipsch's sounded terrific for game playing and MP3 listening. However, the new 5.1's will have the center channel satellite, the bigger sub, the new standalone control tower, and will be Dolby Digital compatible (DD processor not included). I think that's pretty good value for the extra $100.
