Not sure where the rest of this group is, on to hooking this system up to my tv...had no luck with the audio out from tv. No sound whatsoever. Plugging into the headphone jack works fine however it is in mono. Both speakers tie directly to the subwoofer, and one speaker has a power cord going to subwoofer. This speaker also is the power to headphone jack. Same speaker has volume controls for bass and speakers. Only this speaker works...but this same speaker also has two 1/8" female options. One for headphone and the other has a music note. Possibly do I run a line from dead speaker back to music note???

connect the 3/5mm to an rca adapter
connect the rca to the tv, may need an optical to rca convertor also

what outputs does your tv have?
remember these are pc speakers, not 100% designed for a tv

Look through the TV menus and see if there are any audio output settings. Look for a stereo/mono or internal/external toggle. If there are RCA outs you can try a stereo RCA to 3.5 mm TRS cable. Otherwise you'll have to find a way to connect to the source, or use the TOSLINK out to a converter.

Looking at the manual online I see that this system has the 3.5mm input jack on the satellite speaker containing the controls. The jack with the music note is an AUX input that you can connect a phone or other music device so you can play sound through the speakers. It is not an output.

Most TVs should have stereo RCA outputs (red and white). If so get a 3.5mm to RCA cable. RCA ends goes to TV and 3.5mm goes to input on speaker. Check your TV settings to ensure Audio Out is turned on. If you're still getting only mono then one side might be blown. Test with a known good source - phone, PC..etc.

I was able to get powered up plugging into the headphone jack on my tv, however only the power speaker was working (subwoofer as well)...with two splitters I hooked one speaker to the next and was all good. Not sure if that's correct but it worked... Then I realized my sub woofer was shredded and I replaced it with a slightly larger woofer. Everything worked for a few minutes and then both speakers went dead and now all I have is subwoofer working. Fuses look good. No visible damage inside. Any knowledge on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I tried every option with the RCA out trust me. Absolutely not a sound. Someone mentioned possibly needing an optic cable.

Now my main concern is this: replaced blown subwoofer, two speakers quit on me! Had this up and running for a few days before replacing subwoofer. All good, replaced speaker and worked for maybe a minute then loud static crunching and no more speakers. Woofer works great. Fuses inside and out are good. No obvious scorching or bad solder. Suggestions?

Err sounds like you are shorting them out. Which tv and which jack are you using?

I know both speakers work. I don't actually own headphones. Speakers work through another system. Although my phone is weak, speakers work. But the entire system via phone, same issue. Only subwoofer works.

subwoofer is the amp for all of it, most likely something inside it

you can get a brand new set for 110 from amazon

probably not worth the time to have a tech look at it
