Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers problem

Hi there,

I bought a pair of used Promedia 2.1's and ended up having to order replcaement speaker wire and control pod since the DIN cable was broken on the set I bought.

Finally got the order in today only to be disappointed.

I have connected the speaker wire to satellites to the sub, and the DIN to the sub. I am plugging the interface connector into the port on my SB Audigy 2 OEM that I plug the headphone into (green port, green connector).

I'm getting bass from the subwoofer, and very quiet sound from the right satellite (the one without control pod) and nothing from the other satellite.

When I plug headphones into the left satellite I get sound from the left ear only unless I jiggle the headphone wire/pod a bit.

What is going on here? This stuff is brand new from Klipsch (the new pod/satellite wires) shouldn't it be fine? Am I connected to the right port on my SB Audigy 2? Please don't tell me the satellites are dead, is there any way I can test?

Thanks again!

This isn't the least helpful, but if the speaker wire and control pod were broken, I'd bet other things are busted as well.
