Klipsch Promedia 2.1 Replacing Cables

I just got my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers today, and wow are they awesome! Anyways, when I turn them up like past halfway, I get a constant buzzing sound from the speakers. I have heard that can be caused by the lower quality cables that come with the speakers, going from the woofer to the satellites. What type of cables do I need to buy as replacements? I have some monster cable for my home theater, could I just buy the 3.5mm ends and use those? Or if not, what kind of cable should I buy? My only concern with them was that they'd be too thick to plug into the woofer. Do you have your unused soundcard inputs muted? Speaking of, what are you using for a sound card? I'd look at those before getting new wires.

I have a Creative x-fi xtreme Gamer sound card, and I'll look at the inputs now.

I love my 2.1's but the cable\control pod is a real POS. The problem is the DIN pin connection to the sub woofer, they frequently cause buzzing and can often just break off rendering the speakers useless. This is a huge reccuring problem with these speakers, just google 2.1 control pod or go to the Klipsch forums and look at all the posts regarding faulty DIN pins. Unforetunately you can't just replace them like speaker cables as the cables and the control pod are an intergrated unit including the DIN connection to the sub.

And the only replacements are available through Klipsh and are OSS for months at a time. As a matter of fact they just listed them in stock today and I bought my replacement (the pin just broke off on mine). I have been waiting for over 2 months for them to come back in stock, was originally told mid April and they just showed up today, they will not stay in stock long and when they sell out it will probably be months before they get another shipment from China
2.1 Control Pod replacement

The only other options is to solder a new DIN connector yourself (PITA) or send it to someone to do the soldering. There are several technicians that run auctions on eBay to repair these for around $20 bucks plus shipping both ways.

If yours are already buzzing, I would contact Klipsch and make them sent you new control pod set under warranty while you know they have them
