Outstanding speakers - Wife picked them up for me last year this time when they were on sale and they have been going strong ever since. Absolutely worth $99.

Good set of speakers. Owned 3 sets of them, one which still works. The major weakness in this set is in the sub....the electronics fail--maybe bad caps---but my first two began unrequited humming from the sub whenever it was turned on, connected to a source or not. Finally gave up on them and moved to a dedicated receiver and "real" bookshelf speakers.

Good speaker when they work. Had 2 sets of these with the subs giving out. Now using them plus one more out of ebay to make 5.1 connected to old Sony receiver (which does 4 ohms) and an old sub. Others do not like the horn tweeters but I love them.

Ordered on myself to replace my old, crappy 5.1 Creative speakers. Getting it today!

Damn. I've wanted these for years, but there's always some reason why I can't get them. I don't have the space or money at the moment. Blast!

What on earth. I went to Best Buy to try and pick a set of these up. Had a couple on the shelf, but were tagged at $150. Asked an employee if they would ring up at $100. He said the store doesn't price match their website and that was a Cyber Monday Special. I showed him on my phone that store pick up was an option, but he said I had to place the order online first and then come pick it up for inventory reasons. OK, I live really close by not a huge deal, but stupid. I go home and place the order. Almost 3 hours later, I still haven't gotten the email that my order is ready for pickup even though I know there are multiple sets I could walk in and get myself. It's any wonder I almost never shop at Best Buy.

LOL this!

I ordered around midnight last night and got an email right away that I could pick the order up within 45 minutes. Then I get another email a few minutes later saying it wasn't ready...then I get a third email around 11:00 this morning saying it was now 'ready'. Anyway, I got the speakers but BB sure knows how to make the process difficult...

Had the Logitech z5300s for the longest time.

Heard these in Bestbuy one day and instantly got jealous.

Great set, up there with home theater stuff at the same price point.

LOL

Bestbuy should change their front page deal to:

"Cyber Monkey Run Through Mouse Traps Monday"

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 $150.00
- $50 BB Stick in your A** Special
= $100.00

Jokes aside, these speakers are great and I like 'em. Buy some cheap speaker stands, and run to home depot and pick up some mounting brackets/bolts/nutz. They sound even better when you position at ear level.

My BB did the same thing.

$99 price online, go into the store and it's marked $155, I figure they forgot to change the sign. When they ring it up, still comes up as $155. Manager had to come and modify the price down.

What a scam, remember a few years ago, Best Buy got caught for having their in store computers go to a different BB website with different prices.

Can't get better speakers for less than $100; maybe even $175.

I've had a set of 4.1's that I have run in a 2.1 arrangement for what seems like the last 10 years and they still sound great. $99 is a great price for them.

Very nice for $100 bucks. I remember buying these for people 10+ years ago.

Sad how little innovation has hit the computer speaker market, same could be said for sound cards as well.

These are great speakers, but it would be fantastic to have even better options for the price.
