Our new home is almost finished being built, and we had the builder create spaces for 4 in ceiling speakers where our TV will be going. I need to pick out 4 in ceiling speakers and need some recommendations?

I have purchased Klipsch in the past and have seen many people suggest Klipsch for speakers so I thought I would just go with them.

I want to try and purchase them on eBay to get a good deal and when I did a search for "Klipsch in ceiling" I got mostly:

Klipsch RCR-5 In Ceiling Speakers These are discontinued but alot of them are being sold on eBay, not sure if I want to go with a discontinued product.

Klipsch CDT-5650-C In Ceiling Speakers I was looking at these to buy, what do you guys think?

Klipsch CDT-5800-C In Ceiling Speakers I saw these listed on eBay as well, but only a couple listings. If I can find these for a better price then the 5650-C then I'll go with them.

I was looking at completed listings of the Klipsch CDT-5650-C and on Feb 19th, an auction with all 4 speakers ended with buy it now for only $300....damn, the average price on eBay for just a pair of them is that price. And on pricegrabber.com, just a single one alone goes for $350 at most web stores.

Also, if anybody has suggestions for another brand or type, I would appreciate any help. I'm looking to spend less then $700 for the 4 speakers.

In my last home I used Polk Audio:

I used the low-end RCi speakers and loved them.

In my current home I upgraded to the TC series - but honestly I can't tell a difference from the RCi series - they both sound fantastic.

I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile, so take that for what it's worth.

What's your budget, how big is the room, do you need a sub, is this just for those 4 speakers, and how is your room setup are all questions you may want to answer first.

Budget is listed in my 1st post, I only need 4 speakers. The center channel and sub will not be in ceiling speakers.

The room is pretty big, it's an open living room basically. It's not a dedicated home theater room.

I'm no audiophile, so I don't need the best. Just something that sounds pretty good and something that will last for a long time, because once these are installed, they will probably never be upgraded. I will be keeping them for a long time.

Sorry I missed the $700 budget. If it's just for speakers that means $350/pair which means Klipsch/Polk (or some ID companies maybe). If you're not an audiophile, you will most likely be happy with either brand.

Finally went over to the house today and saw the setup, there are actually 2 wires hanging from the ceiling for the rear speakers, and 2 wires hanging from the front wall that are designed for the 2 front speakers to be placed on either side of the TV.

I was planning on just getting 4 in ceiling speakers, because I thought the locations of the wires were in the ceiling, but what about in wall speakers for the 2 front speakers? Is it best for all 4 speakers to be the same type?

Right now, there is just 1 cable hanging from the drywall for each speaker. After I buy them, the builder will cut out the necessary spaces.

Check out the Infinity ERS series from the Harman Direct store on ebay. Can save some money buying direct and they sound awesome!
