I was wondering if Klipsch makes good home theater speakers. In a few months when lcos comes out for HDTVs I think I'm gonna build a home theater, and if Klipsch are good, I'll probably get them. Or if you'd like suggest your something else...under $1500 (including receiver).

My uncle has 2 klipsch towers, center, and sub. They sound pretty good, however my personal favorite are JBLs. A good site to look up reviews can be found here

I don't have the exact measurements at the moment, but I'd say about 30x15.

Thanks for the other replies, and I'll have to check out the KLH's, but I really don't want to break the bank :D

Actually there's a store here in town that specializes in home audio, not a chain or anything but I think I'll end up making the purchase there.

Hold on, you're willing to buy an LCoS tv and only willing to pay 1500 for a sound system?!??!?!

The only LCoS tv currently out is the Toshiba one and it's like $9000 MSRP, (maybe $6000 street if you're lucky).

I might have been mistaken, but I thought once it became mainstream prices would have a hefty drop. As I said I'm waiting a few months, possibly even early next year, to make the purchases, but I just want to begin to learn what I should look for in HT when the time arrives. If LCoS isn't a viable solution by then, I may just have to "settle" for a less expensive HDTV.

Edit: I'd also like to keep the HT around 1000, but if I must, more would be doable but definitely no more than 1500.

Klipsch is used by movie theaters, the Klipsch horns are great for movie sound. JBL also makes really awesome movie speakers for commercial theaters.
