Klipsch 5.1 on SB Live 5.1: How to make them work without Creative's software?

need some very quick help here please...

I've got an SB Live 5.1 installed in my computer and a set of 5.1 Klipsch Promedias hooked up to it. I get no sound from the rear and center channels, although everything is connected correctly.

How do I make this work without installing Creative's $hitty software?

It doesn't. Maybe the sound card's rear-out jack is fried or something.

try with creative soft, if output does not work it could be damaged, that you may uninstall it

Download the big 24 meg file from Creative, ONly when you're installing tell it drivers only. This way you dont have to deal with their crappy software, and you can keep your system stability. Works for me with Klipsch 4.1...

Actually, Now that I think about it... I remember seeing someone on Newegg.com under reviews for the klipsch 5.1 talking about how it doesnt work ON sbLive 5.1 without some $100 piece of equipment..... Check into this.

Seems the rear out on the sound card was actually dead. What a stupid occurence.
