Honestly, this is a good system for anyone on a budget. Of course it's not as good as a Paradigm setup, or something similar in the $1000 range, but you're only paying $80...why the heck not?

I have a pair of KLH 12" 3 way main floor speakers, and for a 100 dollars a pair, they are damn good... not the best quality, but far from the worst.... so i'm guessing that this surround sound package would be great for the starter or money-less college kid...

I have this setup AND the downfiring sub.
Usually it is referred to as 9006, but it is the same sats and center.
You WILL need a subwoofer with these, as I don't think they come near 100Hz on the low end.
They are quite good for the price, though.

I don't know about this system but I bought a 2 speaker/subwoofer KLH package several years ago and they are a piece of crap.
