I bought a set for my inlaws with a receiver. These sound like hell. Of course you get what you pay for. You would be better served with a cheaper pair of JBL's or Sony's.

I wonder what the frequency response is? Just like Bose? Crappy speakers never list specs. 15 lbs? Must have great magnets.

My brother got these in a cheap package deal with his 5.1 reciever....needless to say they suck, I've got the centercahnnel decorating the top of a bookshelf in my room and he got a new set of Sony surrounds...

If you want crap, or want some cheap poor quality start-up speakers, then go someplace else, seriously, these speakers suck...the high end sucks, and they muffle the sound....really crapping spend some money and get better speakers, really!

The center channel in this set is not bad if you are looking for a cheap one. I don't think you could do better for $40. The satellites are crap though.
