KK266R - raid channel ide errors

I am running a bit warm - 48C per monitor (better fan on order). I have newest BIOS and 4:1. When I try heavy IDE work on RAID 1 (my main HD) and use my USB pockeydrive, I get blue screen error stating that I was unable to write to C: - errors expected. This was worse before I updated the 4:1. Thinking it to be a MOBO problem, I RMA and replaced (thanks IWILL) - Problem persists...

1. anybody else with this problem?

2. Any suggestions on what BIOS settings would make this less likely (not happen!)?
