true and sometimes when you oc on these mobos the USB goes *pffffttt*Originally posted by: mfbf
Are you sure you need drivers for it? Do they just not work or what? Just asking because the USB ports are disabled in the bios by default. Why? I don't know.
Thats what I thought also, just enable them in the bios and they should work fine without any more work.Originally posted by: mfbf

I still have an old KK266 running in my GF's comp and had the same problem (and solution). While a great board (in its day) the USB on it seems to be very flakey.Originally posted by: kgraeme
KK266 FAQ
I ended up replacing the onboard USB with a PCI card because it just quit working one day.

Great board? Ha! USB went out. Corruption on the RAID. Problems with network cards that worked fine in other systems. Zip drive never worked. IDE eventually flaked out.
Crap. Crap. Crap.
And yet I still have one running 24/7 continuously and (minus the minor issue of the USB ports, a problem common to other KT133A boards and easily fixed with a $10 PCI card) perfectly 2 years later?Originally posted by: kgraeme
