Having problems with these 2 setups..when i'm in any 3d apps, the app
will freeze usually in 5-10 mins or boot me out of the program.
i installed the via drivers to the via 4.32sp. tried some bios setting but still apps will freeze. Anyone know how to fix this?

My system:
Athlon t-bird 1.33ghz
kk266 Iwill
geforce 2
pc133 256megs
Windows 98
det drive 6.47
 
Well, you probably already have this, but make sure you are using the latest version of DirectX. (8.something)

Also, what sound card are you using? You might try disabling sound and see if the programs still lock up (it could be directsound). If they do, try another version of the det drivers. Certain versions of the drivers love to mess up my system, while others run perfectly.

I had a similar problem with the KK266-R that seems to be alleviated with the latest flash BIOS.
