My ide drives are showing up as SCSI drives on Win2K. I don't even have a SCSI card installed. So is this typical or should I switch to some other drivers? I'm using the Via drivers that came with the motherboard install CD. Thanks

thats ok, some of the via drivers do that. The microsoft drivers don't show this beaviour, somebody said the newer via drivers(4.29) correct this.

on a friend's computer with win 2k he's got a internal zip 250 (that i cant get running) and it's listed under the scsi device controler in device manager........whats up with this?????? this zip is the only ide device in the system........the rest.......scsi any ideas???? maybe i should update the 4 in 1 driver....???
