KK266 bad VOLTAGE readings - fixed- thanks all!

I have it set to Auto in the BIOS - running a 1gz AXIA at 1.33 (10 x 133), KK266 mb, BIOS 0307. Idle at 36-38C. FOP38 connected to Antec 300W PS. I haven't adjusted any bridges- the CPU is at default settings.

Here are the readings:

VCore value = 1.86
2.5V Value = 0.36-- triggers the alarm
3.3 V Value = 3.41
5V Value = 4.93
12V Value = 12.43

??? What should the readings be and how do I adjust them?

Should I set the BIOS voltage lower to something like 1.6 so it shows up as 1.75 in the VIA monitor? I have had no lockups or crashes, but I don't want to burn out my chip early.

Thanks!

try reinstalling. because you would be having some serious problems if that voltage were correct i would think

I just looked in motherboard monitor and it lists the same values for all the readings. So I think that it's not a software issue... 🙁

dude, the readings in bios is under full load, because they set it up that way, when you go to windows screen start the VIA monitor, don't touch anything and then see what the temperature will look like. My idle T is 28C.

dude, we're talking voltage, not temps

I went into the BIOS and set the voltage to 1.625 and now it shows 1.73 in VIA and Motherboard manager.
I guess I'll email Iwill to see if this is a known issue.

I had to set my voltage to 1.675v in the bios so that it would run at 1.75v. Both the BIOS and VIA's hardware monitor showed the same numbers... For some reason my I/O voltage was running at 3.5v as well until I dropped the vCore to 1.675. Now my I/O voltage runs at 3.3v. Go figure! ?
My experience tells me to trust what the bios is reading.

thanks for the help guys. I was reading elsewhere that the 0.36 is not measured on this board- hence the faulty readings.

I dropped the VCore in the BIOS to 1.65 and now it shows as 1.75 in Win.
The temp has dropped by 2C as well.
the 3.3V has actually gone up to 3.42.
the 5.0V and 12V values are unchanged.

So I guess it's ok
