KK-266R Onboard Audio: Line Input TOO QUIET

I want to capture audio from my VCR/DVD/Stereo using on-board sound. This should be the MIDDLE audio connector in the back of the mobo. With the AUX and LINE IN maxed out in the mixer the sould is still very quiet when connect the LINE-IN from my STEREO. It is only a little better with input from a SONY WALKMAN headphone output.

I don't want to use the Microphone input as it is only MONO (?)

Anybody with a solution?
