I just set up this new M/B and cannot get my modem to connect at more than 31200 bps. This is a Diamond Supra Express 56i which I have used for over a year,and got great connection speeds. Now in this m/b It takes a long time to dial and connect and then the connection is slow.
Does anyone know of any problems using the isa slot in this m/b?
I have tried a pci win modem that I had laying around and it connects at around 37000. But I thought that was slow compared to what I was connecting at before with the 56i.
I need more speed. Any one got suggestions. Is there a bios tweak I can make?
