its never ok to cook anything alive (yes even lobster and such. i am against it and do not eat it).

You just claimed that people rank cats higher. i put why i disagree with that.

I claimed that people in western society rank cats, in general higher. Do you disagree with that? Your personal opinion is irrelevant to the discussion (no offense).

sniff. whaaa! now i need a beer since you hurt my feelings.

but true.

ok, it's wrong to do that to a kitten, yes.

but everyone who eats meat should really ask themselves if they're doing something wrong...

I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm getting nutrition I need and can't get elsewhere. Not eating meat is unhealthy. Life feeds on life feeds on life... *baaaaaa*

Not when you flash-fry them like that. You need to cook cats slowly.

In other news, people throw large slaps of raw cow meat on the frying pan. Give it a rest. If you eat meat, you're gonna like eating cats and dogs, you just don't know it.

I still find it somewhat odd that eating one animal is almost revered, and hurting another lands you in court.

Lobster?
Or seals. They're animals, we're human. Maybe it's too simplistic an approach.

Lobster?

Don't feel pain therefore you can't torture them.

Meh... who are we to say kittens feel pain? Further testing definitely needed.

how do you know the cows that you eat don't know they're about to be slaughtered? I bet they do...

what about chickens? you don't think they know other chickens are being killed? When you hear loud screams next door, you don't automatically think something's wrong?

what about fish, talk about how frightening it will be while you're swimming in the open ocean and all of a sudden a large net captures you and your family as you're being pulled into open air where humans watch you sufficate to death. tell me that's ok...

right, like I said, if you eat meat, you're just as guilty.

The truth is I don't. Fortunately, I also don't care.

obviously the guy was under the influence of some drug or just plain mentally ill.
...or he's just not a cat person?

So, because I'm not a people person, can I fry you alive?

Cows actually do know when they are about to be slaughtered. Or at least the ones I saw. I went to one of those slaughter houses when I was young and you can actually hear the cows wail in despair and visibly shake as they are placed on those conveyor belts.
