Is there a forum for stuff like this? I'm buying a house and I'm going to have to buy some of these big ticket appliances. Dishwasher comes with, but I'm looking for an entry level fridge, washer, and dryer. Also vacuum and microwave. Hello domestica.
Yup, my girlfriend's parents have a Bosch dishwasher. The damn thing is SILENT when running. SILENT. And I've never seen a dishwasher that can get so much food off dishes. The damn thing's amazing.Originally posted by: sharkeeper
Bosch or Fisher and Paykel for most galleys. Washtech if you have a lot of hands. Do it nice not twice.

bosch's are nice, but if you compare features and price, maytag will come out on top. You have to spend over $700 on a bosch to get a quiet one, with maytag you can spend under $600 and get the same features and it will be quieter. Also the maytag has a sensor that knows what cycle to run on, has a better filter, more powerful jets, and a model with a third rack.
Of course I just sell the darn things, what would I know?
