kit needs 8...16 volts?

thanks. I thought I might have to order a 16v PSU from jameco for this. And that would suck.
 
Most devices with such a huge voltage range have voltage regulators or something like that. At work we have a couple of pressure transducers with a similarly wide range. Get it in the range and you'll be ok. Unless it has a diode rectifier, polarity is crucial.
