I watch Hockey Night in Canada almost every saturday night on my Nexus 10, to allow my wife to use our good TV for something else in the same room.

It uses flash. As does multiple streaming sites I use all the time. (mostly sports services)

When I upgraded my Nexus 10 to 4.4, it quit. I found out by actually trying to watch hockey the saturday after I upgraded my N10... I headed to the Nexus 10 XDA forums and found out it was no longer a go.

I could install a custom rom and go back to 4.3, but nobody is going to support 4.3 moving forward and I am not keen on using dolphin browser with a workaround.

I bought a Surface 2 on Black Friday and am now selling my Nexus 10. I use my Tablet primarily for Web Browsing and Media consumption, and the Surface 2 (with VLC now coming any day now too) is better for me currently. Full, supported, Flash and HTML5 in a full desktop browser. Wish I could afford a Surface 2 Pro, but its too much for what I use the device for. Also, I wasn't keen on baytrail options currently. I played with a T100 Asus model at same time I bought my Surface 2 and the Surface 2 was much better built, had a much nicer screen, and just felt a lot faster. I don't care about the keyboard as anything I'd need to type I'd use my laptop for.

The Tegra 4 is super fast and I can't seem to slow the Surface 2 down. Battery life is also great. No complaints about the move here.

You do realize you're posting this in a thread about how you could have gotten Flash working just fine with 4.4 on your Nexus 10 ?

What does your buying something else have to do with the topic ?

Anyway, I had held off installing 4.4 on my 2013 Nexus 7 but because of this topic I went ahead and upgraded and Flash works great for me with Dolphin.

Yeah I got everything working again on 4.4 on my N7. Overclock, Flash, Xposed, and exFAT.

I love the Android community!!!

Uh yea. It matters to me, like I said.

That's the point of this thread, Flash works great with 4.4 now.

It took me about 30 seconds total to do, including downloading Dolphin and the flash.apk.
